INSULATION FOR CAMPERVAN

If you regularly go camping, caravanning or campervanning, you’ll know that it can get a little chilly, particularly at night. 

That’s why we fit insulation for campervan interiors. It protects you from the elements and provides a host of additional benefits, too!

Our camper insulation is high-tech. All vehicles come with Silent-coat Damping Mat, polymeric-based damping material that keeps heat inside. This insulation is flexible, meaning that it coats your camper’s interiors fully and can adhere to contoured panels.

We also install Dodo Thermo Fleece. This sustainable, safe and affordable insulation for campervan interiors looks great and is made of 100 percent recycled polyester (which comes from discarded plastic bottles). Unlike some other types of insulation, it doesn’t absorb moisture, irritate the skin, or require any special protective clothing. This means that it protects you from mould and can be used on internal surfaces.

Most campervans have internal heaters that use diesel or gas. These burn fuel warming up a heat exchanger which then passes heat into the cabin.

While many of these heaters are extremely frugal, it always pays to be more energy-efficient. And that’s where our insulation really shines. Interiors stay warmer for longer so you don’t need to take as much extra fuel with you.

Insulation works by creating a barrier between the warm air inside your camper, and the cool air outside. The advanced materials we use trap tiny pockets of air that act as barriers to heat exchange. When air stops circulating, it cannot transfer heat to the exterior as rapidly.

Lower heat transfer is particularly vital in the winter. It can mean the difference between having a great trip and suffering the whole time because you’re too cold.
