This 2020 MAN TGE just got a serious tech boost — we’ve completed a full MAN TGE adaptive cruise retrofit and fitted a VW T6.1-style steering wheel to match. 🛠️🚐

Clean, OEM-Level Finish
This wasn’t just a parts swap. To get adaptive cruise working correctly, we had to install the correct radar module, wire it into the CAN network, and code the system using our specialist diagnostic tools. Adaptive cruise now works just like it should:

Factory-level coding ensures all buttons behave as intended — no glitches, no mismatches. Everything is mapped to the correct controller, and yes, it even adjusts smoothly when using the stalk or wheel controls.
Tested and Properly Coded
We never guess. Every retrofit we complete is fully tested before handover, and this MAN TGE was no exception. We performed a full diagnostic scan before starting, then again after installation, to ensure no hidden errors remained. The ACC system passed dynamic testing and performed perfectly on road tests — just like a factory install.
These kinds of vag retrofits require more than just plugging in modules. We used ODIS and VCP to handle system adaptations, and we made sure all firmware was up to date before final coding. It’s what makes the difference between a working retrofit and a frustrating one.

We also removed the original wheel and airbag module safely, using OEM trim tools and following all airbag handling protocols. Wiring was routed through the original channels to retain proper steering column movement and horn function.
