Aftermarket Parking Sensors Installation
For most other cars and vans, we supply and install high-quality aftermarket parking sensor systems. Depending on the vehicle type and bumper design, we select proven flush-fit or surface-mounted solutions that provide reliable performance and a discreet, factory-style appearance.
Unlike cheaper universal kits, our selected systems are chosen for reliability, discreet fitment and long-term performance. With over 15 years of installation experience, we know which systems work best for each vehicle and bumper design.

Used when:
The bumper paint condition is not perfect
There is risk of paint damage during flush drilling

🔹 Steelmate Flush Fit (Front & Rear Systems)
For front and rear parking sensor installations, we commonly use Steelmate flush fit systems.
Why?
Because the front activation logic is very intelligent.

Can you fit OEM parking sensors to Volkswagen Group vehicles?
Yes — we can retrofit OEM optical parking sensors (front, rear, or both) to many Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT and Skoda vehicles, depending on vehicle compatibility.
Do you install front and rear parking sensors?
Yes — we install rear-only kits and also front + rear systems. The best option depends on the vehicle, bumper shape and the finish you want.
What aftermarket parking sensor kits do you use?
We mainly use Vodafone and Steelmate systems. For rear-only, we typically use Vodafone R394 (flush fit) or R294 where flush fit may not be suitable. For front + rear, we mainly use Steelmate flush fit where possible.
What is the difference between Vodafone R394 and R294?
R394 is a flush fit sensor that sits neatly in the bumper for a cleaner look. R294 is used where there’s a risk a flush fit sensor may not suit the bumper shape or paint finish.
How do the front parking sensors work on the front + rear kit?
On supported front + rear setups, the front sensors can trigger when braking or selecting reverse. If nothing is within around 50cm, the buzzer won’t sound, but the display can still show approximate distance. The front sensors then switch off after around 20 seconds after the brake is pressed.
Do your parking sensor installations include a warranty?
Yes — OEM Volkswagen Group optical sensors and Vodafone kits come with a 2-year parts and labour warranty.
