While these bars had seen some use, they still offered plenty of value for anyone seeking a practical van upgrade at no cost. This initiative helped another local van owner enhance their vehicle’s appearance and accessibility without breaking the bank.

VW Golf Mk7 Alltrack: Affordable Detachable Towbar & 13-Pin Electrics

With Westfalia towbars now restricted to dealerships and carrying high prices, we provided a cost-effective alternative for a 2016 VW Golf Mk7 Alltrack. Our team installed a detachable towbar system, complete with 13-pin dedicated electrics (including pin 10 for caravan fridge and leisure battery support). All coding was completed to factory standards, ensuring seamless operation and full caravan compatibility.

Volkswagen Caddy: Pioneer Head Unit & Reversing Camera Upgrade

A Volkswagen Caddy owner approached us to resolve issues with an unreliable aftermarket reversing camera and poor DAB radio reception. We installed a Pioneer SPH-DA77DAB head unit paired with a high-quality triangle wedge camera, delivering improved clarity and reliability. Additionally, we replaced a damaged windscreen DAB antenna and fitted a new OEM side door roller, ensuring smooth operation for years to come.

VW Caddy Pioneer head unit and camera retrofit

Volkswagen: Adaptive Cruise Control Retrofit & Custom Steering Wheel Sourcing

During an adaptive cruise control (ACC) installation for a Volkswagen, we encountered a striking carbon fibre steering wheel featuring a flat bottom, blue stitching, and perforated leather. While we didn’t build this particular wheel, we assisted the customer by fitting the ACC system and offered to help source and install similar custom steering wheels to individual specifications.
