We recently completed a comprehensive lighting upgrade on a VW Transporter, fitting genuine Volkswagen front fog lights and activating the cornering light function. The process began with careful bumper removal to ensure precise installation of the new fog lights, each supplied with OEM bulbs. Wiring was routed directly to the Body Control Module (BCM) for full integration—no shortcuts or spliced connections—so the vehicle’s electronics recognised the new features as if they were factory-fitted.
To enable the fog function, we installed a new headlight switch and then carried out all necessary coding and adaptation. This included updating the control modules and activating the cornering light feature for improved visibility on bends and junctions. The result was a flawless, error-free setup that delivered both enhanced safety and a true factory appearance.
