This VW T6 adaptive cruise retrofit brought a real transformation to the driving experience — combining genuine OEM hardware with a second-hand multifunction steering wheel coded to spec. 🛠️🛣️

No aftermarket shortcuts — we used genuine VW radar hardware paired with dealer-level diagnostics to activate and calibrate every module. Once coded, the new steering wheel seamlessly integrated with the van’s central electronics, allowing full cruise control operation via factory buttons.
This isn’t just a plug-and-play job. Adaptive Cruise Control requires precise radar alignment, control module adaptation, and software mapping to ensure the van knows when to brake, accelerate, or maintain distance — all while keeping things safe and smooth, just like it rolled out of Wolfsburg.
We completed a full diagnostic scan before and after the retrofit to verify compatibility and ensure zero fault codes. The system now works flawlessly, with no warning lights and full functionality — including distance control and auto-resume.
Jobs like this normally take a few hours, so while we worked on the retrofit, the owner made use of our comfy customer lounge. With free Wi-Fi, hot drinks, and a smart TV available, plus scenic walks nearby, there’s plenty to keep you relaxed while we bring your upgrade to life.
