Our team also completed a cruise control retrofit on a VW T5.1, utilising the correct 087 Body Control Module to maintain cost efficiency without compromising on quality. The process began with a full autoscan and battery disconnection for safety. We removed the steering wheel, fitted the cruise control stalk, and ran the necessary wiring to both the stalk and the BCM. The final wire was routed through the bulkhead to the ECU, with all coding and testing performed to guarantee reliable operation.
