Proper Coding and Calibration
The retrofit didn’t stop at hardware. We used ODIS online diagnostics to activate the system and VAG calibration tools to fine-tune the camera angle. This ensures the dynamic guidelines respond accurately to steering input and appear instantly when Reverse is selected.
The camera also integrates with the vehicle’s parking sensors, giving a unified display of visual and audible warnings on the MMI screen — just like a factory-fitted system.
