This wasn’t just a bolt-on job. The radar sensor had to be properly aligned and calibrated, the front bumper carefully removed without damaging clips or paintwork, and the vehicle scanned before and after using VCDS and ODIS to confirm successful integration. Adaptive cruise requires multiple modules to communicate perfectly—including the ABS, engine ECU, and instrument cluster—and that’s where our expertise in vag retrofits really shines.
One of the trickier steps in any VW T6 adaptive cruise retrofit is mounting the radar sensor behind the grille without disrupting the van’s appearance or airflow.
