To complete the retrofit, we carefully removed the original wheel and airbag using manufacturer-recommended techniques. We then installed the new Mk6 wheel and re-integrated all wiring into the factory loom — no spliced wires, no aftermarket workarounds. Everything was coded using ODIS and VCDS to ensure full compatibility and error-free operation.
