Everything works flawlessly, just like it would from the factory.
Ever had your foot glued to the accelerator for hours on the motorway? We’ve all been there. That’s why this VW Caddy cruise control retrofit was such a game-changer. Not only did we install it properly using OEM-style wiring and factory coding, but we also activated the multifunction display (MFD) and integrated an aftermarket stereo CANBUS interface—all without cutting any corners. Even some garages wouldn’t touch this job. Luckily, we’re not one of them. 😄
Everything Done Properly
This wasn’t a quick job with universal parts and vague wiring instructions. We used a genuine VW stalk, a compatible clockspring, and a second-hand multifunction steering wheel that still had plenty of life in it. The MFD was activated to show trip data and cruise status, just like VW intended. The aftermarket stereo was already fitted, so we added a CANBUS interface to keep the steering controls and vehicle data communicating properly.
Zero Shortcuts, Maximum Functionality
We took the time to wire everything through the factory loom paths using Tesa tape, matching the OEM finish. The cruise system engages smoothly, the MFD displays cruise speed and consumption, and the steering wheel buttons work seamlessly with the stereo. We even carried out a full diagnostic scan to confirm everything was fault-free and properly coded. No warning lights, no dirty hacks—just proper vag retrofits, done right.
