The BCM allows proper communication between the stalk, ECU, and dash cluster. Once installed, we used genuine VW cruise control parts and routed all wiring through the existing loom. No spliced wires, no dodgy connectors—just a clean, factory-style install.
Tested and Properly Coded
Once the hardware was in place, we moved on to coding. Using a combination of VCDS and ODIS, we coded the cruise control directly into the van’s system. Everything is now fully integrated—no warning lights, no glitches, just cruise control that works exactly as it should. It even shows the correct icon on the dash cluster, just like from the factory.
Sliding Door Roller Replaced
While we were working around the BCM, we noticed the sliding door was making a classic grinding noise. Sure enough, the roller was rusted and worn. We replaced it with a brand-new unit, bringing back the smooth sliding action you’d expect. No more sticking, squeaking, or shoulder workouts just to get the door open. It now glides like it should—quiet and clean.
