We used the original VW stalk setup for this retrofit, which means there’s no aftermarket clutter or mismatched components. It’s the same part you’d find in a factory-equipped model, fully integrated with the vehicle’s CAN system. The digital speedo activation was also performed via direct coding—no add-ons, no gimmicks.

Tested and Properly Coded

As with all our vag retrofits, we carried out a full diagnostic scan before and after installation. The cruise control was coded using ODIS and verified with VCDS to ensure factory-level performance. You’d never know it hadn’t come from Wolfsburg that way. The digital speedometer now provides a modern, focused display, especially useful for long-distance driving or navigating average speed zones.
