Skoda Kodiaq- Heated windscreen
This was Kevins 3rd visit with us after we’d completed other retrofits on his Skoda kodiaq, including OE front parking sensors and an OE reversing camera, as well as security upgrades.

01. Preparation
We were tasked with finding out exactly what was needed to complete this retrofit and how it was going to be done so it was as close to factory as possible including gathering a full list of the parts required, wiring information and software changes needed to make it function as intended
02. The retrofit
We started off by removing necessary parts to gain access to the windscreen ready for removal, once the glass was replaced (this has to be done first due to the curing time needed for the windscreen bond) we could focus our attention on how the rest of the retrofit was going to be complete.
We installed our custom made wiring loom, fuses and relay in the correct locations to keep it all as close to factory spec as possible
Next we set about replacing the Original A/c panel with the correct version that accommodates the heated front windscreen button.
The final step was to make the necessary software/programming changes to allow the vehicle to control the operation of the freshly fitted heated glass.
As with all retrofits completed by us we spend whatever time is needed to make sure it’s going to function as intended and be reliable for our customer
03. Results
The final product is a retrofit that works exactly as it would if it was fitted from factory and that is going to perform well for the foreseeable future.
The screen is controllable from both the A/c panel and via the climate control display on the OE infotainment screen.
